West Lothian Youth Action Project was set up in 1993 to tackle youth issues in Livingston, before casting its net throughout the West Lothian area three years later.

It is an independent voluntary organisation with charitable status, part funded by West Lothian Council and based in the Community House at Aller Place in Eliburn, Livingston. The project offers a wide range of youth support, advice and information services focusing on the needs of local youngsters aged between 10 and 21.
African Child Ministries is a Christian Charity based in Carrickfergus Northern Ireland. It has been established since 2005 and is a registered charity in both the UK and Kenya.

Our ethos is not only to give orphaned children a better quality of life but also to teach them to become productive adults within their local community.

We buy foodstuffs and sell them at discounted prices in our food shop and market stall, allowing us to pass on great savings to our customers. All our profits go directly to Africa to help with the aims listed on our website.
