ABOUT PUMPHERSTON-PRINT

Pumpherston Print was set up by Gil Gillies in 2007 to plug a gap in the market, enabling voluntary sector agencies and charities to be able to afford good quality print and design at print runs that suit them.

Gil completed one of the last Apprenticeships in Harland & Wolff Shipbuilders (completing with a Licenteship of City & Guilds in Marine Engineering)and has worked full time for the voluntary sector / charities since he left Belfast in 1990. He has lived in various communities, including The Corrymeela Community and The Iona Community and has travelled extensively, hungry for the experience of other cultures and lands.

Gil settled in Scotland and studied at Edinburgh. In 1995 he moved to Wiston Lodge in South Lanarkshire, where he was employed as Senior Outdoor Instructor and specialised in Team Building and programme development, before coming to West Lothian in 2001 where he still currently works with West Lothian Youth Action Project.

Pumpherston Print is a local business with aspirations for social responsibility and as such currently supports some social and charitable projects.(Details of these current projects can be found on the supporting page)
